Although Carol Stockton was always interested in sketching and photography, she did not really start developing her skills until she attended Albertus Magnus College, where she completed a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies degree in 2009. At Albertus, she met and was guided through two B/W darkroom classes and a beginner Photoshop elective with Jerry Nevins. With his encouragement, her love for and interest in art and photography were rekindled. Through exploration into technique and genre, she seeks to develop skills that enable her to express beauty and connection, a reverence for nature and a fascination with human attempts to create, communicate, manipulate and understand our world.
